Technology in the real estate sector, vision of José Pedro Pinto, Ceo Grupo Himo
At HIMO Group we are investing heavily in this dimension by creating technological solutions that enhance the mission of each company and simultaneously relate them to each other, their clients and partners. This is how we intend to consolidate our transversal and complementary vision of real estate.
At HABITA, the group’s brokerage company, the future will allow it to act in such a way as to virtually improve the presentation of properties remotely and to enhance the matching of properties and buyers according to the desired characteristics and locations.
In terms of real estate development, at ROOTS, the commercial challenge is similar to mediation in the presentation of its developments, emphasised by the issue of pre-sales and the possibility of customising properties.
In the funding challenge, we are testing in one of the projects, a crowdfunding solution, through a technological platform, for part of the leverage needed for the development of the investment. An innovative mechanism when we consider its application in real estate, but already widely applied in other markets.
At SITIO, a company that operates shared spaces, we are connected, through an application, with all our users, allowing among other features the management of meeting and training room bookings.
Finally, in terms of construction and maintenance of spaces, at CM2 we are investing in knowledge and establishing partnerships with innovative construction solutions of modular and off-site nature, assisted with the use of technological innovations. Increasingly the future will be shaped by technology, we believe that real estate will be no exception.
Specifically we see the development of more efficient construction techniques and more environmentally friendly materials, in management and planning solutions that promote better optimisation of resources and interconnection between parties, and greater rigour and transparency in processes.
